Leah Gore is an Appalachian visual artist and chef whose work defies traditional boundaries, blending bold experimental visuals with flavor-forward culinary creations. Known for her daring works on paper, sculptural paintings, and whimsical edibles, Leah’s interdisciplinary practice is a celebration of movement, texture, and emotional intensity. Her creations, whether on canvas or plate, weave narratives of the natural world, feminine rage, and the DIY ethos rooted in her Appalachian heritage.

A trailblazer in both art and food, Leah founded the acclaimed former microbakery, Jack, and has contributed to the cultural landscape by hosting pop-up events as well as bespoke dining experiences. With over a decade of experience in some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens, she combines technical mastery with fearless creativity to craft work that is as evocative as it is innovative.

Leah holds a BFA in Painting from Marshall University and an AAS in Culinary Arts. Her contributions to the arts have been recognized with the Tamarack Creative Entrepreneur Fellowship Award, and her work has been widely exhibited throughout the Appalachian region of the United States.

Now based in Berlin, Germany, Leah is developing a new body of artwork while actively seeking opportunities in food styling, creative direction, private chef services, and roles that push the boundaries between art and food.
